Vegas Baby!

For several months I had been telling the hubs that I wanted to see Britney Spears in Vegas and he happily obliged because Vegas, duh!  He will tell you that my best time to travel (summer), is his worst, but he made it happen. And let's remember that he took me to Taylor Swift in 2013, which was amazing!!

So our trip started with dropping off our fur baby and heading to the airport. I don't get to fly that often now that Tim and I live in the same place. So I was excited to get out of town!

When we finally got to our hotel the ol' Planet Hollywood, so nice but there was a conference so it was extra, super full.
We spent some time roaming the hotel and met another couple that was going to the buffet and wanted to "use" us for their Groupon- so we got to eat a $60 buffet for $20. Score!! They were super nice, Rio and Trevor, but when they first approached us we were a little leery. Clearly, they were just good people wanting to share.

We gambled some money in the penny slots- the only ones I'll do. Then we got ready for the concert. We were super tired, it started at 9:00 which was 11:00 our time.

We got there and it was CRAZY with people and a LOT of skin.
I did not buy any paraphernalia, but we got a cup!

I will say that there were more men than I thought. Tim really didn't think it was the best, but he also didn't know any of the songs - what does he know?? But he is a good sport for taking me.

Yes- we had descent seats but she was still the size of an ant- so close but so far away. But I enjoyed it!

Now let's get real right now- I am an avid Bravo watcher and love most shows. I watch the show The People's Couch, it's kind of ridiculous that there is a show of people watching TV, but here I am. I saw two of the gals that are on it, Brandy and Julie, I was maybe fan girling because I have never met some one that's been on TV. So I was brave and went up to them and told them I recognized them from the show. They were so nice to give me a hug and say that it was so sweet that I did recognize them and said they would take a pic with me.  They were ordering drinks so I happily waited by smiling at Tim like a 6 year old who was just given free reign in the candy store.
Then it happened-
They got their drinks and walked away- my 6 year old high went away real quick. So I am not a huge fan- and as far as I could tell I was the only one who tried to get a picture.
Tim laughed about this the whole trip, the infamous diss. Waa waa waaaaaa!

On Thursday we went to the Bellagio Conservatory which has such great florals.

I might have watched this woman change the roses on this display and they were some of the most beautiful. I asked her how often she changes the flowers - she said ever other day  #thatsalotofflowers

We made our way to Serendipity3 at Caesars Palace- I HAD to try their signature Frozen Hot Chocolate, people, OMG!!

This is the best pic of us both

We roamed around and I saw my little Pug girls name- I've never seen it so glamorous!!

We went to the Flamingo to see the Flamingos, duh! Random, but I love a flamingo (I may have used to collect them), but a gal at work also loves them and incorporated them into her classroom and it was so cute!!!

I came across The Coffee Bean in our hotel, I thought these were made up. It's been a joke that I look for babies in coffee shops, after the Hangover.  Danielle and I really did find a baby at our local Starbucks. Only the dad sat down his baby and young tot while he ordered- we just thought it was a parenting fail.

We went to a comedy show- but before we went I went to the Drybar that was in the hotel, because why not. If you don't know what that is, it is a blow dry bar where they wash and dry your hair. That's it. Nothing fancy, until they don't do that. I had a not so good experience, or maybe I had high expectations. I didn't feel like my hair was washed, it wasn't too dirty, I washed it the day before. It didn't end well- so that alone will put a girl in a mood after paying 65$ and not liking it.

On our last day we were there our flight wasn't till later in the day so we stayed close by and gambled all our money away. I played blackjack and did a little better than the avid player.

We were so glad to come home and sleep in our own bed. Tim wanted to swing by and get the little pug girl- it was 10:30 at night so my parents were for sure sleeping so we enjoyed a less crowded bed.

Until our next adventure and with summer almost over I have turned in all my assignments for grad school, for the summer session, so I have 3 weeks of pure nothing to do!!!!!!
