Spring Break Odds and Ends

As a teacher I live for breaks!! I am pretty sure after Christmas break I was counting down the days to Spring Break- priorities. And now I am counting down the Mondays until the end of school, there are 6 in case you are wondering.
Over Spring Break I had planned a whole lot of nothing, but I  did decide to go through our closet and purge some clothes that I no longer wear, organize my shoes and just overall spruce up the closet.
I also made time for the Ulta 21 days of deals. Gals- I found so much stuff (that I probably don't need) and at prices that won't make me feel bad for trying new things. I have a habit of watching a few YouTube channels that talk about specifics beauty products, so to actually buy some based on their preferences is neat. I am easily influenced. Here a few goodies I picked up:

the Hoola powder from Benefit, it is such a great bronzer for these warmer months coming up. I can fake my sun glow since I live indoors for all my school work.

I picked up another bottle of the Mario Badescu drying lotion, this stuff is great for break outs. I  also got the Facial Spray in Rose water, this stuff is so refreshing. I do not think it does much for me, but it feels so nice and it smells great.
Mario Badescu Plastic Bottle Drying Lotion

I picked up this CND Solar Oil for cuticles and nails, I have already ordered another bottle for both of my desks. I like to rub it on my cuticles while I am reading or during breaks at work.

I also visited Sephora's website through Ebates, again people you need to look into this, and got a few goodies. I ordered the Supergoop! CC cream, I like using it as my primer and putting my powder foundation over it.  And I also got the bareMinerals Bareskin Concealer, this is super creamy and blends in nicely to cover imperfections. I have really liked it and have been using it since it came in.

Also part of my spring break was seeing a great friend get married to her other half. Our sweet Meredith tied the knot to Jacob!!! It was a beautiful ceremony and I am so honored that I was asked to attend as one of her #fine9
A gal from high school posted this:

How true! It's a great question that I am not really looking for an answer to.

I also found this sweater- I think I need it but to only wear around the house. Sprinkles would probably appreciate it.

Back in January we went to Kenzie's basketball game where she was named MVP of the game. I think with some more practice she will continue doing great.

Since Kenzie's basketball is over she has been doing track, we went and froze our tail ends off. She was really good and her gals all did great! (I secretly my future children will like indoor sports ;)

This small pic is the story of my life at least once a week- dogs and their need to go sniff everything at odd hours.

Tim came home after golf and was talking to me while I was working- I love these 2!

And for all those out there that think Tim is not a lover of our fur baby- this is proof! He may be super embarrassed of her name sometimes, but these pictures are proof. They sure do love each other, enough to spoon, haha!

I am eagerly awaiting for summer break, all teachers are ready!!! If you have kiddos in school, be nice to your kids teachers, it is late in the year and we are all tired. My class is preparing for the STAAR test in early May, I do wish all Texas kiddos greatness on this silly test.
My schooling will be on break the same time of the STAAR test and our anniversary, so my mantra is to just get to our anniversary and I will be ready for summer.
