June = Summer

Summer has started and it has been a rough start. Ashley and I have shared a couple mornings in a row of craziness i.e. Sprinkles got sick on the floor at 5:30 one morning. Not typically how I want to start my day. Tim has been a busy bee at work while I am trying to get our house back in order from the school year neglect. Tim and I went on weekend getaway with my parents to Dallas. My dads brother lives there with some of my cousins. Last time we saw them was at our wedding.

We enjoyed some Topgolf with everyone and maybe a Bloody Mary, because why not it's summer.

There were games of tetherball and other doors fun. (I may have told Tim that I want a tetherball in our yard, it's a fun game).

We found out that Sprinkles if ok to sit on the floor while riding around town, so nice to not hear her crying in her crate.

We took a little drive to see the Dam in Denison, it was crazy from all the rain. It had a lot of people coming to see it.

I am gearing up for a garage sale, I am not a fan at all. But it is not really logical to throw away a couch (although someone in our neighborhood did), if we can let someone else get use out of it or any of our stuff I know that is better. Out with the old and in with the new, yeah for me!! I will be sure to share pics when out new items come in.

I have decorated for the summer, I decided patriotic is a good thing for the summer. I like to decorate for things that will cover for a while like 2 months at the minimum. It keeps our house festive without me having to worry about it.

(I made the bunting from scrapbook paper, Pom Poms from Hobby Lobby, the pillow from Kohls, the patriotic star from Shopko)

Tim and I went to Kansas this past weekend, he was part of a golf tournament and I hung out with Kelley and the boys. We took Sprinkles with us and the boys are big fans of hers. They enjoy chasing her and she enjoys hiding in the bathroom. Kelley and I took the boys to a water park to beat the heat. We ended our day with a family and friends cookout.

These boys love Speinkles

Kelley had ordered the boys a pug shirt and they wore them with Sprinkles, we tried real hard to get a pic of them with her = impossible.

Sunday morning Keeler woke up to read the paper,of course. He was so funny,  he sat there enjoying a read and I don't think he even noticed I was there.

I have a couple of weeks with Tim with no interruptions of him traveling for work. I am excited!! We have been enjoying our evenings cooking dinner together and playing with our fur-baby. And I did not forget to tell Tim happy Sprinkles dad day, he sure does love her.

I am enjoying my summer so far and hoping for more fun to come!
